Obama is screaming they need to hire more teachers. According to this, teacher pupil ratios never been better. Seems Obama is trying to make a false political ploy demanding more teachers. Even with better teacher ratios we have not seen education improve. In fact, the costs keep going up and the pupils come out less competitive compared to other countries. Ever since the federal government got involved in the local education systems of communities the education system has gone down hill.
It sure looks good grand standing for more teachers we don’t need. One study said if the worse 10% of teachers were fired the US would be in the top 5 again worldwide. The teachers unions protect the bad teachers and their is no solution because education starts at the home.
